It’s been a blast poring over the impressive entries we received in our Creative Invite with Sigur Rós, but the time has come to declare a winner. The band has chosen Annafelle Liu‘s submission to become the newest addition to their Mystery Film Experiment!
Annafelle’s video will be showcased on the front page of the band’s website and she will receive a $5000 cash prize.
Of her submission, Annafelle wrote, “Skinned is a restless self sculpturing of one’s body. It is a glimpse of the corporeal unconscious, forever trapped in Lacan’s double sided mirror.”
Sigur Rós settled on six rather than three runners-up due to the outstanding quality of work submitted. The runners-up are:

- Gonssalo Soares of Portugal
- Davide Labanti of Italy
- Jeff Ray of the United States
- Billy Hasbi of Indonesia
Ruslan Fedotow is the People’s Choice and a runner up. His video will be featured across Sigur Rós’ YouTube and social media channels.
