Seen: Tilt-Shift LA at Luis De Jesus Los Angeles
“Tilt-Shift LA: New Queer Perspectives on the Western Edge” is a Pacific Standard Time participating gallery exhibition that opened this past Saturday at Luis De Jesus Los Angeles. This group show features 15 local L.A. contemporary queer artists presenting an impressive variety of interesting work — the centerpiece being a hilarious and honest mixed-media installation by prvtdancr & bodega vendetta (pictured above.) I also especially enjoyed two new paintings by Abel Baker Gutierrez, whom I’ve previously written about here.
Check the gallery website for more images and information about the participating artists and upcoming gallery events. The show was curated by Darin Klein & friends and runs through Feb. 25.
