Inus Pretorius recently developed a handbound zine entitled The Burning House. The underlying premise of the project asked the question, “If your house was burning down, what would you save?” In answer to this question New York based illustrator Sachin Teng created four surrealistic portraits and corresponding drawings of pipes, pearls, and other sentimental objects. The book has laser-cut holes in the cover and through careful layering these reveal portions of the artwork from subsequent pages. See more after the jump!
