Preview: Dave MacDowell’s “Project Mayhem” at Thinkspace

Twisting pop culture references to suit his perverse, satirical ends, Dave MacDowell has a new solo show coming up at Thinkspace on January 12 titled “Project Mayhem.” MacDowell’s new canvases are filled with a multitude of chaotic elements all polished with his exaggerated style. Characters appear at once charming, manipulative and diabolical, casting a dark shadow on familiar Disney characters, religious and political figures and the creatures of MacDowell’s imagination.
