Preview: Chase Westfall at 101/exhibit

Tomorrow, February 9, at Miami’s 101/exhibit, Chase Westfall will debut his first solo show with the gallery. Focused on breaking down dichotomous ideas traditionally seen as mutually exclusive, Westfall presents a series of paintings that filter imagery through diamond-shaped grids. The grids merge abstract and realist elements; their hard lines are juxtaposed with expressive, loose brush strokes.
