Preview: Casey Gray’s “Garden Party” and Ferris Plock’s “Carry On”

This Saturday, sister galleries White Walls and Shooting Gallery (located side-by-side in San Francisco) will open two solo shows, Casey Gray‘s “Garden Party” at White Walls and Ferris Plock‘s “Carry On” at Shooting (see our recent studio visit with Ferris Plock here). Gray’s psychedelic still lifes reference Renaissance vanitas paintings as much as they do op art, and Plock’s new body of work continues the upbeat energy with his brightly colored paintings that blend Japanese printmaking aesthetics with contemporary cartooning.
