Parra’s “Kind Regrets” at HVW8 Gallery

Dutch artist Parra (profiled in our current issue) recently opened a solo show at Los Angeles’ HVW8 Gallery titled “Kind Regrets.” A series of new paintings and sculptures (and murals outside the gallery), the exhibit showcases Parra’s easily-recognizable, graphic style. Voluptuous, curvy bird ladies, muscular men and dog-like creatures with pointy toes abound in the show, subsuming the viewer in the intricate world of Parra’s perverse imagination.
