Melodie Provenzano’s Miniature Still Lifes

Marrying the qualities of landscape and still life, Melodie Provenzano‘s paintings provide panoramic views of miniature worlds where objects seem to come to life. Delicately painted, the work contains a mash up of antique objects and references to pop culture laid on out wallpaper backgrounds and colorful backdrops. Provenzano currently has a solo show titled “Rock Center” on display at Lyons Wier Gallery in New York. Take a look at some of her paintings after the jump.
