Combining elements of illustration and photography, Italian artist and designer Marco Puccini tells the tales of painful emotional experiences through simplified characters. Vaguely anthropomorphic, Puccini’s bulbous figures appear solitary and dejected, processing feelings of loneliness and confusion with only nature to keep them company. The lack of detail in these figures and few contextual clues in their surroundings allows viewers to project their personal stories onto these works. Take a look at some of the works after the jump, images courtesy of Marco Puccini.
