Japanese artist Kozue Kuroki creates delicate, ethereal drawings with a dark, storybook-like ambiance. Pallid, childlike figures populate Kuroki’s works — these characters seem otherworldly with their frail bodies and delicate, porcelain skin. They appear to come from a world that seems at once haunting and romantic, where the perverse and the innocent mix and mingle and death looms on the horizon.
